I was at Sentosa days before. And I decided to do a little write up on this extremely popular tourist attraction in Singapore.
Visitors entering and exiting the new air conditioned monorail that brings them from Vivo City to Sentosa Island and vice versa.
Dancing water. A little play fountain by the beach.
Tourist taking a tram ride to and fro from the main station to the multiple attractions on the island.
An orchid. One of the many flowers and shrubs grown around the park to give it a lush and warm atmosphere.
A signboard displaying the special meal of the day. Food and drinks are generally more expensive than those sold on the main land.
The Siloso beach is a very popular place for youths, both locals and tourist.
A pair of Japanese tourist taking a picture of one another.
Friends forever. A bunch of friends enjoying a game of beach volleyball on Siloso beach.
Visitors having fun with the extremely friendly monkeys near the underwater world and the Shangri-la Resort.
She ain't heavy, she's my daughter. The bond between mother and child transcends all species.
Another non human resident on the island, peacocks. In this case, a female.
Feeding of animals is generally not allowed in Sentosa.
But who could resist not feeding a cute little critter like this fella?
Even the young ones have their share.
And so does dad.
The underwater world. The evergreen attraction of Sentosa Island.
The hammerhead shark figure. Once hung proudly on the celing overlooking the aquarium, now an abandoned relic of the past in the back yard.
A beautiful hibiscus, found at the back of the underwater world.
Construction has been ongoing around the island for the upcoming integrated resort.
Tourist enjoying a go cart like game.
A visitor from faraway swiming to the shores of Palawan beach.
Posing for the shot.
Photographer of the day: Yongda.
A cocnut husk being pushed around by the waves. A dead and hapless object being moved by a dynamic force.
A stairway to heaven. Actually home.
A view of the main station
For whom do the bells toil for?
Mr Merlion!
Buisness as usual for everybody.
The "kangpong" houses. Props for the "Song of the Sea" performance.
A final glimpse, a final goodbye.
